TERMS AND CONDITIONS

*ALL UNITS ARE NON SMOKING & PLEASE NO PETS INSIDE

*NO TOWING PERMITTED

BOOKING/DAMAGE DEPOSIT:

A booking deposit of $300.00 (CND) per week will be taken at the time of the booking. Full payment must be made in advance of occupancy. $300 will be held on authorizes credit card for insurance deductible, damage, missing items or if units are not returned clean, etc. Unused portion (hopefully all of it) will be credited back to the credit card with-in 5 days of rental return.


CANCELLATIONS:

Booking deposit will be refunded if the unit can be re-rented for the same time period, less a $50.00 per week charge. So give us as much lead time as you can.


INSURANCE:

Insurance of $300.00 deductible (per occurrence) is included on all stationary rentals, delivered and set up.


CHECK IN & CHECK OUT TIMES:

  • TRAVEL TRAILERS:

Check in time is 3:00 pm: we will do our best to have your unit delivered and set up as soon as possible on your site.

Check out time is 10:00 am: this gives us time to service and move the unit. No refunds for early return.

  • MOTORHOMES:

Pick up: 2pm – 4pm

Return: 9am – 11am No refunds for early return


EQUIPMENT / CLEANING / DAMAGE

All units come equipped:

  • dishes
  • pots
  • pans
  • cutlery/ utensil
  • glasses
  • microwave
  • toaster
  • coffee make


Please insure all dishes and utensils are washed and put away. Please wipe down with the disinfectant supplied; all sinks, counters, tabletops, appliances and tubs/shower stalls. Floors should be vacuumed / washed and the inside of the fridge and microwave wiped clean.

Cleaning supplies are supplied

Units must be returned clean and undamaged or charges will apply.

*** Bedding and towels are not included


AWNINGS:

Instructions are in each unit. Please read carefully, awnings damage easily and are the full responsibility of the renter. Awnings must be retracted in windy conditions and drained properly of rain water ( lower on corner slightly). Ensure that awnings are raised high enough over the entrance door so rubbing does not occur. To not be responsible, please leave the awing retracted in the upright position.


CAMPSITES WITHOUT SERVICES: (SURCHARGE MAY APPLY)

Use water sparingly as the fresh water tanks are limited in size.
Rule of thumb:

  • One tank of fresh water and one waste tanks will need to be emptied.
  • Holding tanks that need to be emptied prior to pickup date are the renters responsibility.

Use lights sparingly, as 12 volt battery power is limited. 120 volt plug in power or a generator is required for air-conditioning, microwave,coffee maker, toaster etc. Generators are available for rent.


INSURANCE MOTORHOMES:

  • BC residents with Roadstar Package can insure motorhomes through ICBC at no charge to them.

Your Insurance Broker will give you a pre-printed card to show the rental agency. It will provide a phone number for rental agencies to call to confirm your coverage. See ICBC for RoadStar Package information.

  • Out of province and non roadstar, must purchase insurance, $20.00/per day, C/W $300.00 deductible


EXTRA KILOMETERS

  • Motorhome rentals come with 1,000 km's included with each week of rental and 150 km's included with each extra day.
  • Kilometers above the include amount will be charged $0.25 per kilometer.

DRIVER RESPONSIBILITIES:

All drivers must possess a drivers license valid for the entire rental period. Minimum age is 25 years old. Only drivers listed on the contact are allowed to drive. No special license required.

The renter is responsible for the cost of all fuels, such as gas, oil, and propane, during the rental period and must ensure that all levels are topped up before returning the motorhome, or a reasonable surcharge will apply.

Sewer tanks must be emptied before return or a reasonable surcharge will apply.

Motorhomes must be returned clean on the outside as well as the inside when it is returned or a reasonable surcharge will apply.


MAINTENANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:

The renter is responsible for:

  1. checking coolant and engine oil levels at each refueling.

  2. Reporting mechanical failures immediately.

  3. Retain parts and receipts for items replaced by a repair shop in order to be refunded.

  4. Get authorization before any repair. The renter may be held responsible for mechanical damage due to negligence in operation and or performing normal maintenance.

RESTRICTIONS:

Vehicles are not permitted to enter Mexico at any time. Travel to Death Valley is limited to the low season.

NORTHERN TRAVEL SURCHARGE:

A surcharge of $450.00 (CND) will allow the renter to travel through the following areas; Alaska Highway north of Fort. St. John, Cassiar Highway, Highway 35 north of Peace River and Northwest / Yukon Territories - Alaska


EXTRAS FOR RENT:

  • Bedding and sleeping bags $20.00 per person
  • TV and VCR combination $50.00 per trip
  • Lawnchairs $5.00 per trip
  • Barbecue $20.00 per trip
  • Bike Rack $25.00 per trip
  • Generator- Honda 2500 $40 per day or $200.00 per week
